Another Practice

Okay I need your honest opinions, criticisms and what not :)

Last Sunday, as I said, the WFM team went on a team building trip to Sonya's Garden, Tagaytay and Enchanted Kingdom , Laguna. I wasn't able to take some scenic shots because my team (particularly Zarah) were asking me to take pictures of them. So I did. Papilit pa daw kunyari hahah! But anyway, I know there are beginner shots, so please bear with me :) I am not really sure how to code this in html so that they are side by side. I'll find out how and will update. For the meantime, please bear with me :)

Whine! Whine! Whine!

Am here in the office and boy do I want to go home. I hate feeling this way. I hate feeling like I don't want to go back to the office ever again. Sheesh! I am tired of working nights, I am tired of not seeing the husband. Tired, tired, tired. Can I just slap myself to stop me from whining?! LOL!
The only thing that's stopping me from leaving is the fact that we are moving out in a couple of months. Add to the fact that I don't want to leave my colleagues as they became dear friends already. And if ever I leave, who says I won't end up in another call center and work nights again? I'll just be going around circles and I am tired of doing that.

It's Time for the Google Dance!

It's that time once again folks, time when our Google PageRanks are doing the dance. The world of bloggers have been a buzz lately as there were a lot of high ranking blogs whose page ranks went down a notch. Don't ask me why cause I really don't know. Well, it happened to me a while back when my PR 2 blog went down to PR 0. Pfft! Just like that. No explanation as to why. And not being able to really understand how Google does it, I just threw it in the wind. Nothing I can do anyway. So I continued to blog and blog, until finally, just today, I saw a PR 1 for that blog and a PR 2 for this blog! lol! I find it wierd, but hey, whose complaining? Besides, I don' t think it is time for me to celebrate as the dance is still happening. I may end up with a 0 yet. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that this blog's PR stays as it is.

Weekend Recap

How was your weekend?

Mine was exhausting but pretty fun and memeory-filled. Saturday found me and the husband in a quaint coffee shop near here. We talked our heads off, just laughing and dreaming of the future. As sad as it may sound, the truth is, we haven't done that for a long time. Whether it's because of our different schedules or we were just too busy with our careers, it doesn't matter anymore. It's just plain sad. Just three years into the marriage and we're already like this. So last Saturday, we decided enough is enough. Our marriage is more important than anything else. So even if we have opposing schedules, we decided to still take time for each other. Time for just the two of us, no interruptions.

Sunday, I was out for a team building with my WFM team. I know it's office stuff again, but this was planned way before the husband and I decided on things. Also, it's a once in a year stuff where all the WFM peeps from different sites get together and get to know each other more. Anyway, we headed off to Sonya's Garden, Tagaytay where we had the most scrumptous brunch. We had several activities and then headed off to Enchanted Kingdom for more fun. It was truly a memory-filled day! (I will share pictures soon!) To our Site Directors, Sir Eppie, Sir Ian and Ms. Kay, to our WFM Manager, Angelo, Thank you so much for making all this possible! Let's plan for next year's team building! :)

Something Exciting for the Move Out!

My mind is full lately. Work, marriage and the coming move. I am excited and scared at the same time. Excited because, finally we will be able to start a life of our own. Just the husband and me. Scared because I know the husband will have some expectations and I am hoping against hope that I will be able to meet his expectations.

Another thing to be excited about is this new purchase we will make. The husband finally agreed that we will buy one of those
Frigidaire Dishwashers. I love it! It's going to be built into our kitchen so it's going to look pretty nice! Can't wait for the move ;P

Virtual Assistance

I am really considering builiding a Virtual Assitance business. I think with the BPO trend these days, this is quite an interesting business to look into. I have experience with North American clients, been a secretary before, but I don't think these will cut it. I am currently researching deeply into this and frankly, I am really considering it. Imagine the flexible hours and being able to work from home. What do you think?

Time with the Husband

Had a long day with the husband. Tiring but fun. After my shift, we went straight to Carriedo to get a copy of the husband's NBI clearance. After which we just sort of walked around, had lunch and had to hurry home because he still needed to get a police clearance. Sometimes, I really treasure moments like these. Kahit na I'm so tired na. Yan lang kasi mga moments namin e. Since we only see each other during the weekends.

Dreaming of Trucks

I've always been fascinated by trucks and sometimes even consider getting one if I have the budget. Trucks have so many uses and it is very flexible. You can use it to move houses, carry a lot of stuff, use it for delivery business and a lot more! The husband thinks the same thing too! So does this mean we are going to get a truck? lol!

Anyway, sometimes when the husband and I talk about getting a truck, we often catch ourselves getting carried away! We talk about accesorizing the truck and one thing we both agree on is getting a ladder rack! This would be helpful and convenient for our passengers or even putting stuff onto the truck. Plus, it would look soo cool!

See how crazy we are?

Moving Out!!!

I am beyond excited!

I posted on my other blog that the husband has finally been accepted to that private company he was really interested in. Well, along with that came the decision from the husband that we are finally moving out early next year!!! YEY!

I have been praying for that for 3 years now. You see, we are now living with his parents, and while his parents are really nice, I have longed for us to start our lives together. I have always dreamed for us to live on our own, no matter how hard it's going to be. I have been bugging him about it for quite some time and now, this is really it! It's finally happening!

We decided to move out by February. This would at least give us time to save for the appliances we need to buy and other stuff too. Plus Christmas is coming and we would not want to dampen the holiday mood. :)

That't it. I guess I just wanted to share my happiness and excitement.

Sick

I've been absent from work for 2 days now. Monday I had allergies. My face was all splotchy and red so i decided to stay home. Tuesday, I had a very very painful dysmenorrhea (spelling?). I was literally writhing in pain, crying uncontrollably. I guess the crying helped as I was able to sleep it off. I woke up feeling better.

As stressful as my work is, I hate being absent. Not because I am such a good employee, but because the work piles up. And since I work in a contact center, it means missing out on a lot of conference calls and what not. It's a very fast paced environment and employees need to keep up.

I am going back to work today. I'll be going there early to check on my mailbox (which is full already by the way). I refuse to check it when I am home. I abhor bringing work home.

Photography

I am seriously considering taking photography as a hobby. I just love the exhiliration I feel whenever I take pictures. I am not good. Far from it actually but I am very very willing to learn!

Anyway, I told myself I need to practice and this will be what I'd do every weekend! I started today and here's one of the shots I took of our nephew Amiel (more shots here):

Have a great day everyone! :)
