Time Management

I am such a loser when it comes to blogging regularly. It's not that I don't like doing it, I guess it's more of lacking time management. Working my a** off isn't doing me good. (Note to self: Life isn't all about your work.) Most of the time, when I come home from work, I'd rather plop on the bed and sleep.

Not being able to manage my time properly makes me miss out on the more important stuff. A lot of them I must say. I don't get to spend more time with the husband; I don't get to practice my photography and I don't get to read anymore. :( The husband is patient enough to understand but like I said in my previous post, I don't want to wake up one day to find my marriage in shambles!

Photography - ahh I've been in love with this hobby for quite some time now but always never have the time to practice. I guess, aside from time management, discipline is what I need.

Reading. One wierd thing you have to know about me is that a bookstore is heaven to me. I love being in a bookstore - I really have no idea why. I love looking at new office supplies and love the smell of books. Everytime I enter a Powerbooks store, I honestly close my eyes and take in the wonderful smell of books! Am I a nerd now? Nah! I don't have their IQ! lol! But seriously, I'd love to have the chance of curling up with a wonderful book while sipping a cup of Max Brenner Venezuelan Milk Chocolate! Yum!

Well, this workaholic me has got to change. It wouldn't be easy but I need to have better control of my life. I need to find that balance. God help me!

New Love

Whew! It's been a stressful 3 weeks for me and there are more ahead. I don't think it will ever stop! lol!

As was posted on my other
blog, the husband and I had a simple celebration. We had lunch at TriNoMa capped with a cup of uberlicious (sorry I couldn't find words to describe it.lol!) Max Brenner's Venezuela Milk Chocolate. My taste buds were jumping with joy from that drink! Worth every cent! Defintely coming back for more.

Oh and thanks to N!Ce for that wonderful suggestion! I actually did it the day after but the husband appreciated it so much. :)

This weekend, I swore I would never think of work and the office. And that I did. I allowed myself to enjoy time with the husband and gave in to my inner desire - photography. I have always wanted to shoot and shoot to my hearts' content, but with the busy schedule, I couldn't seem to find the time to do it. After much thought, though, I said what the heck, it's now or never!

So armed with our beloved Canon S3IS, the husband and I went to the mall of asia with family to roam the mall. We tinkered with the camera and practiced. We had a few shots (I am finding it hard to shoot with a lot of people around.) with a couple of nice ones. It's a good thing we had a willing and adorable model with us - Dina - our pamangkin (niece)!

So I leave you with those few pictures we really like. Hope you like them too! I swear, I am giving myself and photography a chance. To the husband, if you are reading this, ehem ehem, it's almost Christmas, and all I want for Christmas is a Canon DSLR (400 D) lol!

Approaching our 10th

Our 10th anniversary is coming up this weekend and I have absolutely no idea what to give the husband. I really really want to give him something special, or probably take him somewhere out of town for the weekend. I'd really like to show him how thankful I am for his support, understanding and love.

Call me blessed; call me lucky; but I really do have the most wonderful husband. His selflessness amazes me sometimes. He let's me sleep the whole day Saturday when i come home from work and never let's anyone disturb me - even my mom! lol! I never hear him complain about me not spending more time with him. He just accepts and understands my career without complains.

I could go on and on about how wonderful he is but to sum things up, he is the best for me. Truly God-given.

So sweetie, if you are reading this, please know I appreciate you - every last bit of you! I know there are a lot of times that I've offended you or pissed you off but thank you for loving me still. I love you and I pray that God will continue to bless you - bless us.

Happy 10th honey!
