I am truly getting excited as the date of the move draws near. Finally, a chance to be independent - can you say freedom? lol!
Well, we shoud've done this earlier but certain circumstances prevented us from doing so. Oh well, as my manager would say, that's water under the bridge and we should move on. So here we are literally moving on. :) What's even more exciting is the prospect that we may not need to rent - we may be getting a townhouse that's on a rent-to-own basis. Yey! A dear friend of the husband is into this business and he has an upcoming project he would be helping us with. Please pray that the papers would all be settled and that this would push through.
So this December, the Rebel may have to wait. Sigh! Let's see what happens.

Had a blast this weekend spending time with my parents and siblings. After our dentist appointment, we all went window shopping in divisoria. With the holidays closing in, there were like millions of people there. Ahh, Christmas is indeed around the corner!
After window shopping, we had lunch at carvajal at our favorite chinese resto - Quick Snack. Yum! Our stomachs were definitely happy! This quaint little restaurant has been a part of our family for years! Eating there brought back a lot of happy memories. I remember when we were little, my dad would bring home a bucket of our favorite sate mi. It's a spicy noodle with kangkong. Sorry I'm bad at describing food lol!
Anyhoo, Sunday was spent at home just lazing around. The husband decided to enjoy the day at home because today is his first day at his new job and he would want a clear mind and a well rested body.
That's how our weekend went. I know we've spent boring weekends but we decided not to go out much because we're saving up for the big move. :)

My mind is full lately. Work, marriage and the coming move. I am excited and scared at the same time. Excited because, finally we will be able to start a life of our own. Just the husband and me. Scared because I know the husband will have some expectations and I am hoping against hope that I will be able to meet his expectations.
Another thing to be excited about is this new purchase we will make. The husband finally agreed that we will buy one of those Frigidaire Dishwashers. I love it! It's going to be built into our kitchen so it's going to look pretty nice! Can't wait for the move ;P Labels: Family, Moving out

Had a long day with the husband. Tiring but fun. After my shift, we went straight to Carriedo to get a copy of the husband's NBI clearance. After which we just sort of walked around, had lunch and had to hurry home because he still needed to get a police clearance. Sometimes, I really treasure moments like these. Kahit na I'm so tired na. Yan lang kasi mga moments namin e. Since we only see each other during the weekends.

I am beyond excited!
I posted on my other blog that the husband has finally been accepted to that private company he was really interested in. Well, along with that came the decision from the husband that we are finally moving out early next year!!! YEY!
I have been praying for that for 3 years now. You see, we are now living with his parents, and while his parents are really nice, I have longed for us to start our lives together. I have always dreamed for us to live on our own, no matter how hard it's going to be. I have been bugging him about it for quite some time and now, this is really it! It's finally happening!
We decided to move out by February. This would at least give us time to save for the appliances we need to buy and other stuff too. Plus Christmas is coming and we would not want to dampen the holiday mood. :)
That't it. I guess I just wanted to share my happiness and excitement.
