Blooms

As another friend is preparing for her wedding, I am taken back to 3 years ago when I was preparing for my own wedding. Funny as it may sound, I was so obsessive about my bridal bouquet back then. I wanted it to be special even if I knew I'd only be holding it for a short time. I looked and shopped around for the best florist I could find. Our wedding florist did a wonderful job and my flowers even lasted for a week.

Nowadays, there are a lot of florists to choose from and with the advent of the internet, it's easier and more convenient to search and get that beautiful bouquet you've been dreaming of. If you're the adventurous type though, maybe you could order
wholesale roses from FiftyFlowers.com and do your bouquet yourselves or better yet have them do it! I am sure you won't be able to get your hands on that with the hustle and bustle of wedding activities. I tell you, you'd never go wrong with them as they offer flowers at low prices but of wonderful quality. How is that you may ask? Well, they remove the wholesalers and retailers from the supply chain therefore giving you lower costs without sacrificing quality. So if you're on a lookout for a good florist for your events, give them a call!

Dreaming of Blue

I want to go to the beach. I want to see blue skies, white sand and the sun. Sigh.

I know I could but a part of me these days would rather save the money then spend it on travel. Well, that's one part but another tells me to enjoy a bit of what I worked hard for; to live my life to the fullest and get to go places. Choices. choices.

But don't you just love Summer? I know the heat becomes unbearable sometimes but what I would give to just lie on the sand and look up to a gorgeous blue sky and let the sun melt all my troubles away.

March

I've been away too long cobwebs have probably formed in this blog.

How has your March been so far? Hope all is well.

March has been good except for a few minor bumps along the way. I consider it pretty good nonetheless. The husband purchased his own DSLR last March 5 and he has been a shutter addict ever since! lol! I am thrilled beyond anything because we finally have the same hobby. It's not that we don't do things together, it's just with our varying interests, we rarely get to talk passionately about the same thing. Is that bad?

A week after, we bought a Nintendo Wii console. I wish I am losing pounds from all the movements I am making. lol!

So that is my March so far. How about yours?

Nothing Much

I am at the office. My computer is not working so I had to borrow another one and since all my files are there I can;t really do much so I blog. lol! I haven't been updating this blog much. I've been quite busy but I do update my other blog so you can see updates from there. :) I will try to keep this blog alive as much as I can if I don't get drowned in the pile of work I have to do.

So what's up with me? Well, aside from work, I've been busy with the Rebel. I've been taking photogtaphy classes with Jo Avila. Just Basic photography workshops. I missed the second session though as I got sick. It's a good thing Master Jo has been very kind to allow me a chance to make up for it. It is fun and I got to learn a lot of things.

What else? well other than that it's been work work and work which I have to do now so I got to go. I'll update soon okay? Toodles!

Mia's First

Mia is one year old! Her parents decided to hold the celebration a couple of days early to take advantage of the long holiday weekend. It wasn't that big, just a mingling of Family and friends at Shangri-La west avenue. I took a lot of pictures but only liked some of them. I am still having trouble with proper exposure and focusing and I am committed to keep on practicing. I've posted a couple of pictures here. Hope you like them! :)

I recently found out that gold is available in coin or ingot form. I was like, wth is an ingot? Turns out ingots are pure buillons castsed in convenient sizes and shape. Imagine that! You truly learn something new everyday.

I have always been fascinated by gold. From ancient times up until now, man has always been awed by gold. I have always wondered why. I still don't have the answers though lol! Anyway, if you are fascinated with gold too and are planning on investing on it, you may want to try and check on Monex Deposit Company (MDC). You can purchase gold or other precious metals from them and they offer personal delivery or arrange for a convenient and safe storage. Their dedicate staff of hard asset professionals are committed to serve your needs.

Didn't I promise that the rebel and I will spend more time together? hehehe! Got busy today taking several pictures of our niece Mia. She will be turning one soon and her parents are asking us to take pictures on her birthday party. I am nervous! What pictures do you usually take during a kid's birthday party?/ Any suggestions? Anyway, let me share my favorite shot of the bunch. She is one feisty little girl so I have a hard time catching her on camera lol!

Am Alive!

Well hello! Sorry for neglecting this blog for quite some time. I had a lot of work on my hands but that is going to change. I am reclaiming my life back lol!

Work got me busy the last month. I had to help set up a new account and it took everything I had. Staying at the office for more than 12 hours of everyday just to make sure tasks are done. When I got sick last week, it made me realize that I had to slow down. That I had to enjoy my life. So from now on, that is what I am going to do. Neglecting work when I am home especially on a weekend and just spend time with the husband.

The husband started training last January. We now work in the same company although in different departments. We see each other sometimes and eat together a couple of times. It's been fun so far. :)

I haven't touched the Rebel in a while though. I miss my baby and I plan to make up for lost time. On Feb 16, I start attending the Basic Photography workshop of Jo Avila so me and the Rebel will start spending more time together. heehee!

That's all the updates for now. Thank you to everyone who bloghopped over. Sorry for being such a disappointment blogging wise. I'll be visiting your sites soon! Toodles!

It's really cool how technology and inventions help us in our lives these days. A number of Daily Living Aids are now available to help us. Some small, some big but nevertheless helpful.

AllegroMedical.com is one such company who offers these helpful things. They are an independently owned online company and is the largest most advanced retailers of life enhancing products in the US. In fact, a couple of our relatives living there swear that they often visit the website to purchase not only life enhancing products but consumer retail products as well. Imagine they also offer exercise and fitness equipment, nutritional and dietary suplements, even Maternity and Baby stuff. With 55,000 products under 50 categories, it will be very easy to shop. Hmm..I'd love to have that Folding Shopping Cart! lol!

Moving Back

Do you guys remember my post about moving career wise?? Well, guess what? I was assigned back to the previous site! Whoopee! And although moving is a tad stressful as you have to move a lot of stuff and get reacquainted with a lot of things, I am overjoyed. Moving back means less cost on transportation, being with friends again, having an office with a view and working with competent people. How can 2 sites under 1 company have different work ethics and environments escapes my imagination but I'm happy to be back and that's that.
There's still a lot to do as this is a launch of a new account. But again, I'm happy and that's all there is to it. lol!

I owe you all a lot of posts so please bear with me while I steady my life for a bit. :) I truly appreciate everyone who visited and left comments both on my posts and my shoutbox! happy new year everyone! Wishing you all the best for 2008!
I'll be working on the ex-links and the blog hopping very very soon!

Silver as an Investment

If you are looking for investments, then the best time to invest in bullion is right now. You see, the demand for it now exceeds its production so people are really buying it. Even the government who once dumped billions and billions of it onto the world market is now buying it. The best to invest in is silver. I know most of you think Gold is better but silver has been gaining ground. As in investment, silver is available in coin or in ingot form. Ingots are are of pure bullion made into a convenient size and shape. Ordinary Things

The Rebel and I have been having some wonderful time together. Not really going places as I hoped we'd do but more of staying at home and seeing things in a new light. That is one of the things I love about photography, you see things in new perspective, the mundane, ordinary things become unordinary when seen through the viewfinder. The other day, The Rebel and I went through the house and captured stuff that I pass by everyday. Things that I neglect. But when captured by the Rebel...

3rd Wedding Anniversary

Thank you everyone who remembered our wedding anniversary. It's been a fun filled 3 years and we are still going strong. We did a simple celebration. Just had lunch somewhere and chitchats about what we were doing at that time of our wedding day. The reason for that simple celebration was lack of time. I came from work and still had a shift tonight so we were pressed for time. We decided, the size of the celebration didn't really matter as long as we are together. Here's to more years ahead!

HID Lights

I recently saw a wedding picture that was taken at night. I was awed by how well the lighting was. Much to my surprise, I found out that the light they used were zenon lights from the grooms truck! It was an awesome idea. It runs out the lighting equipment went ahead to the reception venue so they had nothing to use until they thought of the groom's truck. It turned out really great! If you are curious, Zenon lights are High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting that is really great in lighting your path while driving down the road. This newest dimension in lighting will be really useful when you're driving and suddenly find yourself in the middle of a storm and couldn't see the road. It would be a real life saver, I bet! If you are interested, these babies are sold at BuyAutoTruckAccessories.com. They carry Hella and Optilux Zenon lights which are engineered in Germany.

I am soooo sleepy. I only slept for about an hour and a half since 6PM last night. I accompanied our ninang to TriNoMa today for some errands so my feet hurt too. But that's okay since I was able to drool over my dream 7 million dollar home camera bag by Crumpler. It is quite expensive and my savings could not take a hit at this point. On Mortgages

It is still fresh in my memory. The day my mom and dad announced we will be moving because my grandfather mortgaged the house and is not able to pay anymore. It was the first time I have heard about mortgages and I honestly didn't have the teeniest clue about it at the time. My father explained that my grandfather did his best and even tried to find some cheap mortgages to no avail. What made me remember? Well because my cousin in the UK and her husband are currently planning on a remortgageand are currently searching the net and comparing plans. I honestly am proud with both of them when it comes to financial matters. They're just so good in saving up and using their funds. Well, at least when the time comes for me and the husband to take out a mortgage, we'd have people to go to for advice, eh?

Bookcases

Besides buying The Rebel this Christmas, the husband and I are planning on getting some Solid Oak Bookcases , 2 of them in fact, to house my collection of books and our collection of DVD's. The small bookcase we have would not fit all of them. If it was up to the husband, he's just stash them someplace but being the OC that I am, I want them too look organized and nice!

So as usual, it's the www for me. I searched and found a site that offers Solid Oak Bookcases in various styles. BarnFurniture has the most amazing sets of book cases I was literally drooling. I want I want! And did you know many of their bookcases include free shipping? Yes FREE! And just by providing your zip code, they can tell you if they deliver to your area, show special pricing and even help you find a showroom! How cool is that huh? Not a lot of shops offer that.

Now our only dilemma is we can't seem to agree on a style that we want. He wants a Mission bookcase with doors while I want 2 of the Traditional Oak Bookcase and also the Mahogany Corner bookcase. You should have seen the husbands eyes, it was wide as a platter thinking of the cost! But you know, when we checked, the prices are quite reasonable. To the husband's relief!

The Peso and The Rebel

And it's down to Php 41.88 to $1. Frustrating because prices of basic commodities don't even go down. Kakainis. Call me bad but I hope after the holidays, the peso will weaken against the dollar. At least, the OFW's who work their a** off abroad would feel the worth of their efforts naman.

On a lighter note, 1 tulog na lang and I'll see the Rebel. I am now planning for a trip - no make that trips sometime next year to put the Rebel to good use hihihi! Kaso, I am confused now. My colleague is insisting I buy the Nikon D40x instead. I know they're both good cameras but I can't decide which I really want. Bahala na tomorrow. :P

Plus the company just announced today that they have a tie up with Fitness First. Whee! Easier cause salary deduction ang monthly payments. But my friend is saying we go to Gold's Gym, cheaper daw. Any thoughts?

But now, hotels.com has revolutionized the way the Spanish public search for their travel needs. They can now search and book their Hoteles through hotels.com. A New Way to Lose Weight

There is this new way of losing weight and my aunt in Tampa told me about it. It's called the Tampa lapband. Journey Lite, the fastest growing network of specialized surgical facilities and surgeons are offering this procedure. They call it Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding which is also known as LAGB. What will happen is they will insert an adjustable gastric band and place it on the upper portion of your stomach. This will allow you to feel full and satisfied so you eat less and lose more weight. Don't worry as it is adjustable and completely reversible. I am unsure if I am ready for this process of losing weight but if you're interested I suggest you check it out.

A Piece of Me

One of the wierd things about me is how I always tend to be quiet when travelling. Whether I travel to and from work or go some place far, I prefer to be left alone and I always always prefer to be by the window. I don't know, I just like to look at the view and meditate. Good thing I woke up. My head hurts from bolting up out of bed. I started yanking out plugs from electrical sockets to avoid short circuit of any appliance in the room. In hindsight, that wasn't such a good idea as I could have easily been electrocuted. But I was on an adrenaline rush sigh. My Crossroads

A couple of posts ago, I blogged about my mind wandering off because of the upcoming lab tests. Well, there's another thing actually. I have been thinking about leaving my job lately and stay at home. Don't get me wrong, my job is rewarding, financial wise, but working nights is taking a strain on me, both physically and emotionally. I'm almost always stressed and I never get to spend time with the husband. Sigh. The only think keeping in my way, is if I would be able to give up the salary I have right now. Not to mention the medical benefit that comes with the job. It's no joke I tell you. That benefit is quite something. Imagine, because of that, I didn't have to pay a single cent when the husband had his gall stone removed. It's tough being on a crossroad.

Honestly I desperately need to lose weight, and it is not easy I tell 'ya. I'm adjusting in my eating habits. I know it has to be slowly but surely. I am at the office right now. Blogging. I know, I know, I shouldn't be doing this but then my mind is actually somewhere else. I am scared about the tests that are going to be done. Scared about the results. I hope that whatever it is, I can accept it. Haay, arte no? Kala mo naman sobrang terminal. But who knows right? Sigh. I hope my leave application for this Thursday and Friday gets approved. I wanted to rest for a day before having those tests. Please pray for me.

New Business Credit Cards

My friend is thinking of starting her own business and is looking into the different offers of New Business Credit Cards that various companies are offering. Problem is, she is having such a hard time comparing and deciding which one is right for her. I asked her to go to CreditCardSearchEngine.com. This company is the internet's longest running sites for Credit Card comparisons. They have a list of the top credit card companies in the world like: JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America and the likes. They can really help her decide on which is best for her, everything from low interest and card rewards to bad to average credit.

Scared!

I think I really need to go back to my Ob-Gyn. I've been feeling some stabbing pains on the lower right of my abdomen, just where the ovaries are supposed to me. It is scaring me like hell. My mind is really on a roll, a lot of bad things springing up. I'd better get to the doctor soon!

Wonderful Weekend

It's been a wonderful weekend. We had a grand time at the flea market today. My parents really had a wonderful time too! Well the husband and I had a great time stuffing our faces with food! lol! There goes our diet! Well, more importantly, the husband and I spent some time together and that's what's important. In a couple of hours it's going to be Monday again and I wouldn't see him for the whole week.

Blog Feature: Mommy Talks, Wife Stories, Girl Speak

This will be a new feature here on my blog where I will feature one blog per week. I don't claim to write good reviews but I guess I just want to give these blogs exposure(not that they need them because they don't lol!), but I guess just to show appreciation and some linky love. :) Feel free to do something like this if you want, nice way to show some link love too!

Anyway, on to my first blog feature. This week, I am putting Aggie's Blog in the spotlight. Aggie is a fellow pinay digiscrapper and a great writer! She is married to Edil and they have 2 adorable kids, Matthew and Martha.

I found Aggie's netspace when she left a comment on my wedding blog. As a practice, I visited her site and was enamored with how well she wrote. She can really keep you interested in her stories! At that time, she was neck deep in preparing for her pink and brown wedding (which turned out fantastic by the way!). Inspite of her busy schedule, she always always found the time to tell stories about her cute son Matthew and then-fiance, Edil. As time went on, she had her daughter Martha. I was there, reading, when she found out about her pregnancy and the anecdote she wrote about how Mato told everyone about her pregnancy. I was there when she announced to the world, via her blog, that her princess, Martha has arrived. Needless to say, I became a fan of her blog, an avid reader.

I like how she not only posts stuff about her kids but about her feelings too. Her deepest thoughts, fears and even her lists of things to do! lol! It's like being beside her everyday. What amazes me though is how well she can write about a certain storm in her life without airing out dirty laundry. It's like reading the bits and pieces but getting the big picture too!

So Agggie, do keep on writing. Your blog is an everyday treat for me. :)

The Husband and His New Job

Finally able to access my blog again. For quite some time I couldn't access it here in our office. Good thing I am able to access this again so more posts from me. lol!

The husband has been working his ass off for the past 3 days now. Imagine, on since his first day in the new company, he was asked to come in at 5AM and then he leaves the office at 12AM. My golly! Even if I render OT, it could not compare to the number of hours he has been in the office! What's worse is he's been at it for 3 days now. I am really worried about his health as he only gets 3 hours of sleep a day. He seems to be enjoying so I am leaving him be for now. But when he gets super sick, he is going to hear from me. tsk! tsk!

Customized Writing

Do you remember those days when you and other people from your class stay up late to finsih something? The endless research, interviews and hours in front of the computer wracking your brains trying to come up with something. Yes, you guessed it right, those days of writing Term Papers! Back then I wish it would all stop, but now there's a part of me that misses it.

What I don't miss though is the wracking of the brains part. You know those times when you can't seem to think anything more to write. Well, there's good news for you students out there, now you can rest easy and get the services of a company to write really good papers. From custom papers to dissertations, masterpaper is the one stop source for you. Check it out and see what they could offer.

Vindication. Finally, it goes to show how horribly you are going to mess this up. My team has done everything to help and support you but you always place the blame on us. Now, look at what happened, because you wouldn't listen, because you were stubborn and ignorant, you failed. Sometimes, it pays to listen you know.

Remembering the Wedding Plans

Our 3rd wedding anniversary is coming up and it made me reminisce about planning for our wedding. I was a hands on bride and though our wedding was simple, I've heard some pretty good comments from our guests which made the stress of planning for our wedding worth it.

I remember back then, when most of my friends and relatives were living overseas, the best tool I've ever used, Wedding Planning wise was that of WeddingChannel.com. I tell you, they have the most comprehensive site when it comes to weddings. The husband and I even had a wedding page with them! It is through their site that I found the wedding gown of my dreams, seevral tips on wedding favors and a whole lot more! So if you are into weddings, have a family or friend who is getting married, let them know about this site. It will be a wonderful suggestion.

Handwritings

I can still remember way back in Elementary and High School, I would often be voted as class secretary and most of my teachers would ask me to write on the board (well, until my asthma kicked in). Now, I really keep wondering why, and most of the people would tell me of my really great handwriting. Well, I never thought of my handwriting as great, I really think it average but hey, who am I to contest what they say right? So here goes, I took a quiz on what my handwriting says about me and here's what i found out:

What Your Handwriting

Says About You

You are a fairly energetic person. You know how do pace yourself, and you deal well with stress.

You are very extroverted and outgoing. You are loving, friendly, and supportive. However, you are also manipulative and controlling at times.

You are balanced and grounded. You know how to get along well with others.

You need a bit of space in your life, but you're not a recluse. You expect people to give you a small amount of privacy, and you respect their privacy as well.

You are somewhat traditional, but you are also open to change. You listen to your head and your heart.

You are a decent communicator. You eventually get your point across, but sometimes you leave things a bit ambiguous.
What Does Your Handwriting Say About You?

Mindless Blabber

I am on a roll. I know I haven't posted in a couple of days, probably weeks but it's Monday and when i go to work tonight, I'd be swamped with work and would not be able to post much. So I am taking advantage of this time to put in these thoughts bubbling inside my head. Now, I know I've a lot to post about but it seems my mind is numb and couldn't think much. I hate this. Maybe I need to rest for a bit and come back to posting in a little bit. Sigh!

On Loans

I remember a year ago, I found out that our company is offering unsecured loans benefits offered to their employees. I was ecstatic but it took me a about a year to finally apply for one. I don't know, I guess, I was just cautious. I was thinking, what if I decide early on to leave the company, what would happen to my loan then? Was I even capable of paying for a huge one? Of course back then, the idea of moving out and living independently was out of the question for the husband, so I didn't even considered that possibility, which was bad of me.

Well, I was approved of a hefty amount, which was in time because the husband was hospitalized and we used most of the loan in paying the bills. I still have a long way to go in paying that loan though and now that there's a possiblity that we might take one of the Homeowner loans offered by one of the banks here, makes me really anxious and scared. What is we aren't able to pay for these Loans? Makes me pressured thinking I'd have to do good in my job.

So now, we are tightening our belts. making sure we pay the monthly dues on these loans to avoid any unnecessary charges and interests. It's a good thing that the amount due from my unsecured loan is being deducted by the company every payday - just a substantial amount but it's nice that I don't have to worry about being late in my payments.

News About the Move

I am truly getting excited as the date of the move draws near. Finally, a chance to be independent - can you say freedom? lol!

Well, we shoud've done this earlier but certain circumstances prevented us from doing so. Oh well, as my manager would say, that's water under the bridge and we should move on. So here we are literally moving on. :) What's even more exciting is the prospect that we may not need to rent - we may be getting a townhouse that's on a rent-to-own basis. Yey! A dear friend of the husband is into this business and he has an upcoming project he would be helping us with. Please pray that the papers would all be settled and that this would push through.

So this December, the Rebel may have to wait. Sigh! Let's see what happens.

Take me to the Beach!

I know I've been talking about Christmas for the last few posts but in just a couple of months, it's going to be summer time once again. I know, I know, it's too early, but hey, I've got plans for the summer so I'm entitled to be excited.

I'm planning a beach getaway for me and the husband. I'm dreaming of a trip to the beaches of Mexico. Exciting, ain't it? Well, wait until you hear this fantastic place I chose: the Riviera Maya. The diversity and fascinating beauty of this place would make you want to stay there forever! I'd love to go scuba diving on the Great Maya Reef (The second largest in the world) located along the Riviera Maya's coastline.

Just looking at the pristine white sand and the clear blue waters makes my heart thump! Anyway, I've set my heart on Karisma Hotels in booking this dream destination. It's luxurious accomodations make this truly a place worth the "divine favor" which is the meaning of the greek word Karisma. It also offers a Gourmet-Inclusive concept which is great for food lovers like me and the husband. Add the dedicated-Beach Butler factor and you got a 5 star hotel like atmosphere right on the beach!

Sigh! I wish I could get on that plane now, but I guess I'd have to wait for summer.

Busy Saturday and Lazy Sunday

Had a blast this weekend spending time with my parents and siblings. After our dentist appointment, we all went window shopping in divisoria. With the holidays closing in, there were like millions of people there. Ahh, Christmas is indeed around the corner!

After window shopping, we had lunch at carvajal at our favorite chinese resto - Quick Snack. Yum! Our stomachs were definitely happy! This quaint little restaurant has been a part of our family for years! Eating there brought back a lot of happy memories. I remember when we were little, my dad would bring home a bucket of our favorite sate mi. It's a spicy noodle with kangkong. Sorry I'm bad at describing food lol!

Anyhoo, Sunday was spent at home just lazing around. The husband decided to enjoy the day at home because today is his first day at his new job and he would want a clear mind and a well rested body.

That's how our weekend went. I know we've spent boring weekends but we decided not to go out much because we're saving up for the big move. :)

Dentist Trip

I forgot to post about my dentist trip last Saturday. I must admit, embarassing as it may sound that i have never been to my dentist for quite a while now. I guess about a year or so and I sure got my dose of sermon from my dentist lol! Thankfully, there's nothing bad about my teeth, they seem fine although they obviously need some cleaning. And so I had them cleaned. My dentist repeated that i need to have braces installed on my teeth. Unfortunately, I got my teeth structure from my mom's side of the family and a tooth on my jaw is sticking out. I have to really think about it as having braces is quite costly. Cool, but costly. :P

Insurance Quotes

Back when I was scouting for a new job, one of the things that I looked for in a company is that they should have life insurance benefits. It is important for me because I saw first hand how accidents can really happen. I am not talking about mild accidents but tragic ones and having life insurance really helps a great deal.

Now, I was pretty lucky to find a company that made sure all of it's employees have this employee benefit package that includes this insurance. Just recently, due to a merger, we changed insurance companies and had to fill up a lot of new forms. Curious as to how they look for the best insurance company, I asked our compensation and benefits team on how they decide. Well, of course, they would ask for insurance quotes and find one that could help them save money on insurance.

I think they have a pretty nice way of putting things and they also find ways on how to lower your insurance premiums! It is certainly not a joke when your life is on the line due to an accident. At least if you get one, your family will benefit from it just in case.

Christmas Shopping

Christmas is peeking around the corner and I haven't finished with my list yet. Tsk! Tsk! Time management Nyree! I figured I'd be done with my list by October and start shopping for gifts. But alas, the plan hasn't pushed thru. Sigh! I guess I'd have to join the throng of people come December. It's not so bad, just tiring. How about you, have you started with your Christmas shopping?

New Addiction

I've been busy so I am really sorry for not posting sooner. Busy from watching a new favorite TV series - Ghost Whisperer. Just in time for holloween, huh? Well, I'm not even scared while watching the show. I do cry every episode lol! Try watching and you will know what I mean. Other than that, I am just doing everything I can to spend time with the husband. Every chance, every second, every minute that I can. I am never wasting any more time with work and neglect the husband.

Another Practice

Okay I need your honest opinions, criticisms and what not :)

Last Sunday, as I said, the WFM team went on a team building trip to Sonya's Garden, Tagaytay and Enchanted Kingdom , Laguna. I wasn't able to take some scenic shots because my team (particularly Zarah) were asking me to take pictures of them. So I did. Papilit pa daw kunyari hahah! But anyway, I know there are beginner shots, so please bear with me :) I am not really sure how to code this in html so that they are side by side. I'll find out how and will update. For the meantime, please bear with me :)

Whine! Whine! Whine!

Am here in the office and boy do I want to go home. I hate feeling this way. I hate feeling like I don't want to go back to the office ever again. Sheesh! I am tired of working nights, I am tired of not seeing the husband. Tired, tired, tired. Can I just slap myself to stop me from whining?! LOL!
The only thing that's stopping me from leaving is the fact that we are moving out in a couple of months. Add to the fact that I don't want to leave my colleagues as they became dear friends already. And if ever I leave, who says I won't end up in another call center and work nights again? I'll just be going around circles and I am tired of doing that.

It's Time for the Google Dance!

It's that time once again folks, time when our Google PageRanks are doing the dance. The world of bloggers have been a buzz lately as there were a lot of high ranking blogs whose page ranks went down a notch. Don't ask me why cause I really don't know. Well, it happened to me a while back when my PR 2 blog went down to PR 0. Pfft! Just like that. No explanation as to why. And not being able to really understand how Google does it, I just threw it in the wind. Nothing I can do anyway. So I continued to blog and blog, until finally, just today, I saw a PR 1 for that blog and a PR 2 for this blog! lol! I find it wierd, but hey, whose complaining? Besides, I don' t think it is time for me to celebrate as the dance is still happening. I may end up with a 0 yet. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that this blog's PR stays as it is.

Weekend Recap

How was your weekend?

Mine was exhausting but pretty fun and memeory-filled. Saturday found me and the husband in a quaint coffee shop near here. We talked our heads off, just laughing and dreaming of the future. As sad as it may sound, the truth is, we haven't done that for a long time. Whether it's because of our different schedules or we were just too busy with our careers, it doesn't matter anymore. It's just plain sad. Just three years into the marriage and we're already like this. So last Saturday, we decided enough is enough. Our marriage is more important than anything else. So even if we have opposing schedules, we decided to still take time for each other. Time for just the two of us, no interruptions.

Sunday, I was out for a team building with my WFM team. I know it's office stuff again, but this was planned way before the husband and I decided on things. Also, it's a once in a year stuff where all the WFM peeps from different sites get together and get to know each other more. Anyway, we headed off to Sonya's Garden, Tagaytay where we had the most scrumptous brunch. We had several activities and then headed off to Enchanted Kingdom for more fun. It was truly a memory-filled day! (I will share pictures soon!) To our Site Directors, Sir Eppie, Sir Ian and Ms. Kay, to our WFM Manager, Angelo, Thank you so much for making all this possible! Let's plan for next year's team building! :)
